🤗❤️ #gutenmorgen #buenosdías #buongiorno #günaydın #goodmorning #diaries #newday #susannengelin #photosusannengelin #flower #flor #çiçek #fiore #blume #kwiat #sweden #godmorgon #lovleyday #instamornings #ocak #gennaio #enero #happyday #diary #godmorgen #goodnight #iyigeceler #buenasnoches #loveyourself

Anup mahal Junagarh Fort (Rajasthani: जुनाग्द क़िला) is a fort in the city of Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. The fort was originally called Chintamani and was renamed Junagarh or "Old Fort" in the early 20th century when the ruling family moved to Lalgarh Palace outside the fort limits. It is one of the few major forts in Rajasthan which is not built on a hilltop. The modern city of Bikaner has developed around the fort. informationControlled byGovernment of RajasthanOpen to the publicYesSite historyBuilt1589-1594Built byKaran Chand under Raja Rai Singh of BikanerMaterialsRed sandstones(Dulmera) and  marbles (including Carrara) The fort complex was built under the supervision of Karan Chand, the Prime Minister of Raja Rai Singh, the sixth ruler of Bikaner, who ruled from 1571 to 1611 AD. Construction of the walls and associated moat commenced in 1589 and was completed in 1594. It was built outside the original fort of the city, about 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) from the city centre. Some remnants of the old fort are preserved near the Lakshmi Narayan temple. Historical records reveal that despite the repeated attacks by enemies to capture the fort, it was not taken, except for a lone one-day occupation by Kamran Mirza. Kamran was the second son of the Mughal EmperorBabur who attacked Bikaner in 1534, which was then ruled by Rao Jait Singh. The 5.28 hectares large fort precinct is studded with palaces, temples and pavilions. These buildings depict a composite culture, manifest in the mix of architectural styles. #rajasthan #rajasthantourism #india #jaipur #travel #rajasthani #rajasthandiaries #udaipur #photography #incredibleindia #jodhpur #tourism #rangeelorajasthan #travelphotography #udaipurdiaries #instagram #travelgram #photooftheday #jaisalmer #diaries #travelblogger #follow #indiapictures #instagood #rajasthantour #udaipurblog #picoftheday #love #like #bhfyp

Ganesh Pol in Amer Fort, constructed 1611 and 1667 by King Jai Singh II is located in the main palace of the Amber Fort. There are total seven main gates like Ganesh Pol in the Amber Fort but Ganesh Pol has most importance among all due to its unmatched architecture and strategic location. Housed in Kotah’s historic City Palace — the ancestral seat of the Raos and Maharaos of Kotah — the Museum has been open to the public since 1970 C.E. The Museum has rich collections of arms and armour, royal regalia and ritual paraphernalia, textiles and objets d’art, and world–famous miniature paintings and wall frescos. According to tradition, the foundations of the City Palace (also known as the Garh) were first laid in 1264 C.E. by Prince Jait Singh of Bundi on the spot where he sacrificed and buried the severed head of the defeated Bhil Chieftain Koteya who had previously ruled the region. The name ‘Kotah' is often said to memorialize the human sacrifice (nar bali) of Koteya, although it may equally reference the presence of a strong fort, or kot. Kotah achieved de facto independence from Bundi in 1624 C.E. when Rao Ratan Singh of Bundi’s second son — Rao Madho Singh — asserted sovereignity over Kotah City and eight surrounding districts (parganas). Seven years later in 1631 C.E., the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan issued an Imperial proclamation (farman) confirming Kotah’s independence. Madho Singh’s descendants continued to rule Kotah — often in the service of the Mughal and British Empires — until 1948 C.E. when the Kingdom formally merged with independent India. Today, the City Palace remains at the heart of the ceremonial life of present Maharao Brijraj Singh of Kotah who presides at religious festivals and social gatherings here throughout the year — most importantly at Dasahra and on his birthday. #rajasthan #rajasthantourism #india #jaipur #travel #rajasthani #rajasthandiaries #udaipur #photography #incredibleindia #jodhpur #tourism #rangeelorajasthan #travelphotography #udaipurdiaries #instagram #travelgram #photooftheday #jaisalmer #diaries #travelblogger #follow #indiapictures #instagood #rajasthantour #udaipurblog #picoftheday #love #like #bhfyp

Not long ago I became a bit bored... It happens to all of us, I presume, no matter how hard everything around us tries to overstimulate us, bursting in vivid colors and exaggerated screams. All those social networks with people in them being the better versions of themselves, all those movies and series with people in them being not people at all, but vessels for stereotypes, and, rarely, ideas. When I’m bored, I read articles and researches about pretty much everything. It’s like a game: scroll the page, see an interesting word, open and read the whole text. That’s how I found some interesting stuff that I’m willing to share here. So, if you are beating yourself up because of the boredom occasionally getting the best of you, STOP RIGHT NOW! As it turned out, being bored is very helpful for the brain. It starts daydreaming and drifting off, what makes us more creative and helps work out more creative solutions to the problems. The brain reboots itself thanks to that boredom, and, once you’re ready to act again, it’s completely revitalized. The important part is keeping the phones and other distracting things away as they only are of little help (more of a burden). Immerse inside boredom, doing absolutely nothing but laying still (or taking a long stroll without any destination) and see how it will work out for you! (If it will, of course) For those who are interested, check the experiment of Dr. Sandi Mann or writings of Siegfried Karcauer.
