I have to admit I was bummed I didn’t see the northern lights. But there was something so beautifully eerie about that Nordic light.

What Situations Have Caused You To Look At Life Differently? 💭
I’ve Always Been The Kind Of Person That Looks Back At Situations & (Over) Thinks What I Could’ve Done Differently 🤔.
Since Losing My Sister In May, 💔 I’ve Stopped Looking Back & Have Been Really Focused On Looking Forward & On What’s To Come As She’d Always Remind Me That I Can’t Change The Past.
Things That Have Happened, Cannot Be Changed, So Stay Focused On The Future & Not The Past. 📝
Pure vitamin D and a bottle of water, please!⠀

Some interesting facts about this beautiful Cathedral:
1. There are 12 bells, all of which were made in Moscow. The biggest weighs 12 tons, while the smallest weighs only 10 kg.
2. The domes are covered in actual gold.
3. The interior features – Italian marble, Brazilian onyx, Indian alabaster, and chandeliers from Munich.
Top tip: this photo was taken in the morning. Around 8am in September (Autumn-the sunrise at this time of year is a little later). Photos at sunset here are extra special!

Dome of the Rock, also known as Qubbat al-Sakhrah, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the two mosques on the Temple Mount of Jerusalem, just behind the Western Wall. I struggled to find my way in, walked all around, but it turned out to be very simple. When you face the Western Wall, there is a wooden bridge at your right hand side. This wooden bridge leads to the Morocco Gate, into the Temple Mount. This is the only way for non-Muslims to access the Dome of the Rock! Women must make sure to cover shoulders and legs, meaning pants, skirts and dresses should be ankle length, otherwise the security may send you away. They already complained my dress showed too much leg... No tripods or Jewish religious signs are allowed either. Non-Muslims are excluded from going inside the Dome of the Rock. A controversial place yet pretty to see. .

Bob and I lucked out with this stunner, as we sipped cocktails @ritzcarlton
and watched the moon rise over the mountains. Highly suggest a cocktail date up here when you visit Rancho Mirage or anywhere in @visitgreaterps

Adding to a sea of ocean pictures and the only reason this one feels different is because I experienced many moments surrounded by this water before it flowed back into itself time and time again.
Sea urchin stings because I couldn’t drop my ego and listen to everyone saying they were there.
Conversations with patios speaking Germans that seem to have no interest in ever leaving the island.
Dinners with friends who become like family for brief periods of time because we all need connection. -
Hundreds of more that I will probably never remember but inserted in me feelings of ~life is beautiful in the here and now~

Traveling, to me, is walking in the footsteps of people all over the world living different lives from me, different perspectives, different stories. But in the end, we’re all human, and so much more the same than we ever could be different.

Isn’t it so soothing listening to seashells and songs of the ocean? Nature is the highest form of art, nature is God, nature is balance, nature is love. And so every seashell holds the entire universe in its tiny body. And so do you and so do I. 1 AM poems, goodnight 🐚🌎💫✨

Pudding in Barcelona was always a winner!
My latest collaborative post for @jessmpascoe
features the best beaches in Western Australia. My contribution is for Bunker Bay but also featured is Rottnest Island which brought back some fantastic memories.
I hired a bike to explore & found pink lakes, quokkas who were obsessed with licking my toes & the oil off my chain & almost ran over a venomous snake. Here was my faithful companion for the day. Well worth getting the ferry over from Perth!
This will be me after my 20,000 word deadline in two weeks...but for now I’m PANICKING a bit 😬😬😬
Ha, I may or may not have 15,000 words left, but I may or may not also have an insane amount of Nespresso pods and no weekend plans 😂 🖋📓
If you don’t know, I’m currently getting my MA which requires me to write a 60-80,000 word non fiction book. The book’s subject is moi and that’s all I can say currently 🤫
What are you currently creating? 🖋
Sometimes being in front of the camera feels weird🙈
You’re not sure how to pose and what to do with your hands. And that’s ok. I think unless you’re a model or have been practicing different poses for years, sometimes your mind just goes blank.
One thing I’ve had help is having props with me. In this case, my scarf 😝 But it can also be a cup of coffee, flowers, newspaper, a hat etc. Once your hands are busy, it wouldn’t feel as weird anymore ❤️ What are some of the props you use when shooting? 😘
I like to go against the wind, it’s a good way to live 💨 .
How do you like to live your life? Are you a rule breaker, do you make your own paths or do you just let the wind blow you into place?..
Since Santa lives in Lapland, I visited Elves Village, a cheerful resort where it’s Christmas all year. Among the things I learned: all elves report to Santa about our naughty/nice status (c’mon!), and every elf wears a different color to highlight their different skills (d’awww).

Being back in Canada makes me miss the ocean so much ✨
Last week I started to plan my next adventure, I’m so excited to get on a plane & find some warmer weather 💫
What do you guys prefer beach or mountains?
How many bottles of water do you drink? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I make it a huge habit to drink one before I have my coffee, it just helps with everything else. Drinking a couple of glasses of water to allow the body to rehydrate allows for better digestion when you do eat.
