Time, Consistency, and Patience are Key throughout every fitness journey. - When I first began my journey to be honest I didn’t know what I was doing. I was barely eating and doing too much cardio. In my mind, carbs were bad and I couldn’t eat over 1,200 calories. 🤦🏻‍♀️ - Once I started to fall in love with lifting, everything changed. I began to constantly educate myself about proper nutrition, strength training, cardiovascular training, and so much. About 6 years ago I began counting macros which has changed my overall nutrition so much. It allows me to consume Whole Foods while still enjoying many other foods that I love. Which allowed me To have a better relationship with food. . - I also began creating a proper training schedule for myself so I can obtain the goals I set for myself. Incorporating exercises I enjoyed while still Challenging myself to try new things. Since this I have seen the most progress but it hasn’t been easy. - It’s taken many trials, errors, And set backs due to health issues but here I am!! I’m continuously fighting for the body I want and working on my mental healthy each day. This journey is not just about a being healthy physically but also mentally as well. There’s days that’s it’s going to be hard to find motivation but if you are determined you can achieve your goals! Not everyone’s goals are the same and not all diets will work for everyone. You have to find what works for you and your lifestyle. Even if it gets difficult don’t give up! Find your fight! 💪🏽

wow im loving my home workouts! they give me just enough burn to feel good and they are easy to do in my room. I havent been getting to the gym when i would like too but working out at home is much more convenient some days. heres the workout i did today. Upper body pull and lower body push. One of my biggest weaknesses is self love. It’s something that I would like to focus more on the remaining of the year and years to come. I just feel like I have made no progress and I’ve put so much effort in. It’s the worst thing when you know you are trying, you look at progress photos and you don’t see any change. I’m my own worst enemy but it’s only because I want to make myself proud. I want to reach my dreams and goals and I’ll do anything to reach them. I feel like I’ve been hitting set back after setback constantly and I fight through it but it gets tiring. Monday who? Lol it's a regular day as always but today is the last day of deload.. finished off with conventional deadlifts. decided to take a break from sumos. . I was worried that I wouldn't be able to pull this 275lbs because last time I did conventional deadlifts I was stuck at 265lbs I believe 🤔 or 255lbs I dont fucking remember lol that's how long I haven't been doing them. Deload week is almost over 😁 - Today was a short workout just had alot on my mind and the only place I can just forget everything is the gym. I did bench & conventional deadlifts since I haven't done them in a long time. - I didnt record this but I finally had the courage to ask someone to spot me. I was doing 115lbs and last I did it by myself the bar almost killed me lol. I did 3 reps which isnt bad.
