I am starting to feel really rough so I think I might be coming down with something! I hope it waits until the weekend at least because I’ve got christmas shopping to do 😂 I don’t want to be cutting it too fine this year! -
I might just have a really warm bath, have a nice cup of coffee and eat a tub of ice cream (yes a whole tub, I wanna treat myself). I’m in quite a big calorie deficit today for some reason so the ice cream will solve that 🤭 It’s white chocolate and raspberry flavoured and I’m craving it already 🤤 -

RECIPE - caramelised onion & ricotta pitta pockets. a trip to the nearby Tesco superstore resulted in some sumptuous ingredients purchased & serious meal time inspiration. money spent on these particular components = roughly £4. easily 4 mealtimes worth of healthy, tasty & easy food. (1) method for some proper caramelised onions. sliced, butter & olive oil into the pan on a low heat. after 5/10 minutes, season with salt & pepper. then, add a splash of water, 1tbsp of sugar & a splash of balsamic vinegar. everything you need for the sweetest, softest & tastiest onions. (2) pitta time. these garlic, lemon & parsley pittas were picked up for 61p, but any pitta/equivalent will do. I bronzed on a pan, but toasting probably more conducive & oven best. (3) salad filling. 1/4 cherry tomatoes & sprinkle with plenty of salt to draw out excess water. we want tasty toms. black pepper, olive oil & pinch of oregano. get your leaves ready too. Butter fried salmon and asparagus 👌 I squeezed a little lemon juice on during the cooking and it was oh so good!!! ▫️Also that weird thing is the salmon skin, I peeled it off and fried it separately as a side 🤤🤤🤤
Dinner tonight before bootcamp...bacon, egg and avocado on toast with lots of mushrooms and bbq sauce. Today's snacks were some mints, caramel latte and maoams. Ending the day on 1,349 calories ✔
💜🧘🏻♀️🕉 “Relax” segment today for 3 Week Yoga Retreat! The first time I saw the title for this particular workout, I was like, “Huh...is this real??? 🤔 Isn’t any workout totally opposite of relaxing?!”
But now being in my 3rd week of this program, I realize that it is completely a necessary workout! Sounds crazy, right?! For me personally, relaxing helps me prepare my mind for my busy day. Remember...mental health is just as important as your physical, so “treat yo’self” to some daily calm and slay your day!

November is almost over but Its still “NO EXCUSE NOVEMBER” in my book!!! It’s less than 6 WEEKS until the NEW YEAR & do you know what THAT ALSO means?
It means that probably about 95% of you will make every EXCUSE in the book why you can’t start your “Day 1 Health & Fitness Journey” until the new year.
The excuses probably sound a little bit like this:
1. I have no time to workout or eat healthy because the holidays are right around the corner.
2. Im hosting the holidays so why not just push it 8 more weeks.
3. I have no money to spend on my health & fitness because I have to buy presents for people this holiday season.
4. I have every excuse in the book for myself because I know how hard its going to be.
Seriously guys.. STOP!
STOP with every DANG EXCUSE you have for yourself.
You OWE this one to yourself & your body to treat it with love!
And the reality is YOU do have the time but you haven’t yet MADE that time.
And the reality is YOU do probably have the money to start your journey but YOU CHOOSE to spend it elsewhere.
And the reality is the HOLIDAYS are always going to be there.. so work around them!
And the reality is its going to BE HARD.. but IF YOU DON’T put the WORK IN.. you’ll NEVER GET to where you want to be!

Whipped up some chai snickerdoodles the other day and daaaaaamn they were delish. I’m a sucker for anything cinnamon-y or a cookie. These are a MUST make! Found @ourbalancedbowl
recipe on Pinterest and it didn’t disappoint! .
✨ingredients: 2 cups all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon cream of tartar, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (recipe calls for 1/2 teaspoon but #yolo),
1/2 melted @kerrygoldusa
butta, 1/2 cup cake sugar, 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar, 1 @chinovalleyranchers
egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, chai spice sugar (1/4 cup cane sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom, 1/4 teaspoon allspice) ✨method: preheat oven to 350. Mix chai spice sugar in small bowl and set aside. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Whisk wet ingredients in separate bowl, until butter and sugar are combined. Add egg and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients until thick dough forms. Roll dough into 9 cookies, coating in chai sugar. Place in lines backing sheet and bake for 10-13 minutes. 😋

i’ve been on two runs since being at bristol - nothing that fast, nothing that long but i’ve actually really enjoyed them lol
i’ve never ever been a runner, i haven’t gone on a long distance run in about 6 years and i’m pretty crap at them but for some reason i’ve felt like running recently hahahah
bc i know i’m crap at running there’s been no pressure to run a certain speed, or not stop at all, or even to keep pushing every second because usually my exercise is so focused and intense that i have the mindset that i have to make every second count, to work to my goals and push myself. but because i knew that wouldn’t be possible w running, i didn’t feel pressure (i’m my WORST pressuriser) and i really really enjoyed it.
getting in fresh air, maybe not the most intense exercise u do, but doing something different to usual can hugely benefit u. it’s not always about striving to be the best u can be, or pushing yourself to the limits 24/7 but also your mental health, the enjoyment of just moving about, and trying something new🥰

When I was a little girl, I dreamt of becoming a chef and changing the world by using food as medicine. I wanted to show people that real, whole food doesn’t need to be prepared in a way that’s bland, boring or too extreme (you know what I mean 😂). I wanted to reverse illnesses through lifestyle change and I wanted to teach people that healthy food can be just as fancy, gourmet and DELICIOUS as any other. While this still rings 100% true, I had to learn to practice what I preached.
You see, I went from one extreme to the other when it came to food. I’d binge on bread, cookies, ice cream and crackers (feeling terrible about myself) and then suddenly switch gears and cut out all sweets, carbs and fats, thinking I was doing myself a huge favor. I restricted almost everything, exercised too much and never was satisfied with my outcome. I wasn’t fit enough. I wasn’t “healthy” enough. I wasn’t pretty enough. . . It never ended.
I touted the benefits of being healthy to whoever listened. I told people what to do. I researched. I tried every diet and workout program. However, deep down I knew I wasn’t modeling health in the slightest.
It wasn’t until I hit rock bottom, battling a ravaging eating disorder and extreme fear/control issues that I knew I needed to change. My journey to recovery, healing and freedom was definitely a process, but it was worth every second.
When the Lord restored my lost passions, I knew that I could pursue my vision of changing the world through food and lifestyle, but it changed a little (or upgraded if you will...). I realized I’d be able to help people in a very different way because I’d BEEN there- I understood what it was like to struggle with depression and anxiety and I knew what it was like to have a poor relationship with food, body and my definition of health.
When I went back to school to become a Health Coach, everything changed. As I went through the program as a student AND a client (we practiced on each other), I learned how to form healthy habits and turn them into lasting behaviors. I learned balance (continued in comments 👇🏽)
