Which do you guys like better?
Left (not on prep) or right (on prep)? Heres my personal experience between the two. I'll throw in a few pros and cons to each as well so here we go!
When I'm on prep like on the right my diet is very clean, more protein, more vegetables, less fats and sugar and my training is much more intense. I also drink over a gallon of water a day and up my cardio a lot as well. I feel more sore, tired and "stiff". I do feel great overall though mentally. I love looking in the mirror and seeing that the training and diet is paying off. Realistically, I can easily lose that look in a week if I just go all out on eating delicious foods and treats though so I really have to be on point to maintain that look.
On the left, I feel much more flexible and obviously not quite as strong when it comes to overall strength than on the right. My lifts arent as intense and my diet is pretty much whatever I want for the most part. I still do the 60/40 (60% healthy foods, 40% unhealthy foods) but you can see how all this makes a huge difference. Overall it's easier living life on the left and allows me to have more fun in life but it doesnt get me in magazines like the right does! 😂🤚 So what can we get from this? If wanting to get leaner and stronger simply do these things I'm about to list below and if you're consistent with it all, you WILL see changes!
Up your water intake (over a gallon a day)
Cut sugars down by a lot
Cut your bad fats out
Up your protein intake
Up your cardio to 2 to 3 days a week on the treadmill (either sprints or walking at an incline)
Lift HEAVY AND HARD (get that heart rate up and get yourself sore)
Lift weights and train at least 6x a week vs 3 - 5x a week.
Boom there it is! Good luck and stay strong my friends
