We've spent most of today at the seaside so it was a "throw some stuff on pasta" kind of evening. . . Mushroom sauce made with a load of onions and mushrooms, mustard, smoked paprika, garlic, veg stock cube and some cream cheese.
Key West Chicken 18 ounces Raw boneless, skinless, chicken breast (equivalent to 12 ounces cooked) 2 2/3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce 2 tsp Splenda 2 tsp vegetable oil 1 garlic clove, chopped 1 tsp lime zest Makes 2 servings, each serving gives 2 leaners (6 ounces cooked chicken each), 3 condiments, and 1 healthy fat. In a shallow container, blend soy sauce, splenda, vegetable oil, lime juice, and garlic. Place chicken breast halves into the mixture and turn to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Preheat an indoor or outdoor grill for high heat. Spray pam on the grill grate. Discard marinade and grill chicken for 6 to 8 minutes on each side until juices run clear.
Lower body session wasn’t amazing today, not every session is the best🤷🏼♀️ however, those sessions give you a lesson to take home and something to improve on for next time👏🏻here’s a few clips from my lower body, glute and hamstring focused session the other day which was LIT🔥 very very good session - Always struggle to engage my glutes but did some activation prior to my workout and the engagement was so much better🙌🏻🍑 was definitely feeling it for a few days after🔥🤪 - 🍑1: RDL (my go to compound for my hamstrings, toe elevated to allow an increased ROM☝🏻) 🔥2: smith machine sumo squats (always struggled to engage my glutes on this exercise so I slowed it down and put my feet further forward and this is the best this movement has ever felt🥳) 🍑3: hack squat (high and wide stance and aiming for below 90 degrees to recruit as many muscle fibres in my glutes as possible👊🏻 hack squat is my favourite atm😍) 🔥4: banded hip thrust (slow and controlled, squeezing at the top, these never get any easier, always a killer🤣🔥) 🍑5: leg press (high and wide, I get a good hamstring engagement on this so like to implement this variation on my glute+hamstring leg days🤩) 🔥6+7: superset- banded reverse hyperextension, kettlebell swing (had this superset as my finisher and it was a good one🔥🍑☝🏻 squeeze your glutes on both exercises- 12 reps of each x 4🤪👏🏻) - Training legs has gone from one of my least favourite to train to one of my favourites recently👏🏻 leg day is always a killer session🔥🤩
