Starting the morning walks early with my little nephew, Charlie. 🙊
He was at the farm for a visit on the weekend. He’s an early riser so he joined me and my brother for a morning walk at 6:30am on Saturday and Sunday (Ok, so Charlie was in the pram for some of the walk, or the walk would have taken 4 hours instead of 45 mins 😂🙊).
I really believe that my habit of going for a daily walk is deeply engrained from my childhood at the farm. Every night after dinner, my siblings and I would be in our PJ’s and we’d ride our bikes to the mailbox and back, whilst mum and dad would walk. .
Now 30 odd years later I still love my daily walk (but not in my pjs these days 😂🙊). I also mainly walk in the mornings these days because I often teach yoga in the evening.
If there’s any habit that I would encourage people to incorporate into their every day life, it would be a daily walk. 🧡 And if you have kids, perhaps get them to come along to (on their bikes if they’re a bit young to keep up with walking). What an amazing example you’re setting for them, plus it’s a beautiful way to spend some time together in the great outdoors. ☺️🙌🏼💫

Wanted to show you guys a superhero transformation pic. Top pic is around 2 years of lifting. Bottom pic is where I'm currently at, around 8 years of lifting. Two key things to take away from this picture: 1. It looks like my skin tone went from Simpson-yellow to a regular skin tone. And 2. Next time I put a picture of me flexing, be sure to include a little bit of your pants in the picture so it doesn't look like you're completely naked.
Working on my self for my self. For those who want to know I am currently doing 3 split leg days weekly. If you want to grow certain area target that muscle 2-3 per week. Be patient, eat well, train hard and have good recovery. Be in calorie surplus (meaning stick to 100-200 calories over your maintenance) no need for dirty bulk. Don’t focus on cardio as much but more on building muscle (Strength training)
As always I’m experimenting with new booty exercises. Absolutely love it, pay attention to the feet placement. 🙃

There are many areas in my life that I still need to give birth too! Areas of myself that I forgot to water and allow to blossom b it here’s the thing! As I took small action (sometimes uncomfortable outlooks with it) I learned what I buried and what fears I allowed to hold me back’ and you will to but not u till you start to choose to put down your pride and live your purpose! Not till you choose till you take what you buried and remove the anchors that have subconsciously weigh you down. Not until there’s action!
Once we give birth and unleash the God given potential and gift we have and truly see them is the only time will be able to thrive and love out a happy successful cultivating life!
So, how about we come together and spread that light into not only ourselves but each-other! Rid ourselves from the anxieties, comparison and strains of life struggles and just live for today with ambition and tenacity!

This modified push down has become one of my favorite exercises for the triceps. You’ll notice that I take a further away from the tower stance while performing this then I lean forward slightly. This angle takes a lot of the stress off my injured rotator cuff and gives me a greater mind muscle connection than just pushing the bar straight down in a vertical fashion. Another reason I do this is so at the bottom of the movement I can push the bar against the thighs to create a very intense contraction. You cannot push as much weight this way but I feel it hits the triceps more effectively. I’m all about working the muscles more effectively instead of just slinging some weight around. What do you think? Have you ever tried the tricep pushdowns this way?

📍First of all, a lot of the products, supplements, and fitness guru on the platforms overestimate both male's and female's muscle gains in a year. These unrealistic expectations can cause people to jump from stupid programs to stupid-er programs, or from one mass gainer supp to another
📍These lies cause a lot of people to think that they can gain much more muscle much more quickly in the natural way, and may lead to lots of frustrations when it doesn't turn out to be that way
📍Average natural men gain about 40-50lbs of MUSCLE (not weight) in their life and average natural women gain about 20-25lbs. If you're underweight when you first started (me), you might bounce to the normal body weight first and then gain the above numbers .
📍that's about 0.25 to 0.5 lbs of muscle per week for men and 0.12 to 0.25 lb for women. Exceptions do exist, some people gain muscles at a faster rate either due to their sleep schedule, diet, or genetics (most often all three)
📍 Experience level is another big factor. Beginners gain much faster much quicker but the newbie gains will slow down gradually. Usually the amount of muscle you build first year is twice as much as your second year
