Continuities 📝 . Nothing is ever really lost, or can be lost, No birth, identity, form—no object of the world, Nor life, nor force, nor any visible thing; Appearance must not foil, nor shifted sphere confuse thy brain. Ample are time and space—ample the field and nature. The body, sluggish, aged, cold—the embers left from earlier fires, The light in the eye grown dim shall duly flame again; The sun now low in the west rises for mornings and for noons continual; To frozen clods ever the spring's invisible land returns, With grass and flowers and summer fruits and corn. ~WALT WHITMAN. 💛 . . . . #poetry #seasons #cycles #nature #lovenature #protectnature #trees #clouds #sky #sunlight #awriterslife #writersofinstagram

Happy Equinox and Full Moon! New blog post about transitioning from winter to spring and the foods and activities recommended during this time of rebirth. Seasonal transitions are always a great time to come in for acupuncture to feel balanced and in tune with nature. Living in accordance with the seasons creates a more balanced life and allows us the ability to hear our own nature clearly. As the energy begins to change, here are some tips below to work with it. See link in bio for more spring tips! 🌺Rise early and go walking in order to absorb the fresh, invigorating energy 🌺Exercise more frequently and wear loose-fitting clothing 🌺Do stretching exercises to loosen up muscles and tendons 🌺Develop equanimity because spring is the season of the liver and indulgence in anger, frustration, depression or sadness or any excess emotion can injure the liver 🌺Cleanse the body of the fats and heavy foods of winter

Happy Ostara, or Spring Equinox, everyone! I'd like to share a story with you ;) One day during winter, Eostre found a poor, helpless, injured bird that was dying. In order to save the bird's life she turned the bird into a hare, but the change did not fully take place. While the bird now looked like a hare, it still had the ability to lay eggs. The hare decorated the eggs and then gave them to Eostre as gifts for saving her life. I hope everyone has a beautiful and blessed Spring!!!
Happy first day of Spring! 🌼 My second favorite season after Autumn. 🍂
H A P P Y FIRST DAY OF S P R I N G ! 🌱🌸🦋🌤🌈 SPRING IS OUR FAVORITE SEASON FOR SO MANY REASONS - IT’S TIME FOR NEW BEGINNINGS . CHANGE . GROWTH . RENEWAL . & BLOOM! . . WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE SEASON? 💖
🌱Can you believe Spring is here? At least today marks the official start of spring, but if you live up north you know how long it can take for it to actually feel like spring! I’ve learned to look for spring in the tiniest signs - tiny buds forming on trees, little pops of green and the occasional crocus sprouting from the ground, extended daylight hours, and of course more sounds of birds. Spring often calls us to wake up from winter slumber, to slowly move about more in the world around us. That movement and awakening can also inspire us to reevaluate our winter habits. Tell me, are there any habits you’re wanting to let go of with the changing seasons? I’m hoping to become less still and more active. Winter was a pretty physically dormant season for me (as can happen sometimes!), partly because we were having to keep our dog very low energy during his heartworm treatment. I mean not to blame my dog...but having to keep the dog really calm and still also translated into keeping my own self pretty calm and still! Now that we’re finally starting to exercise the dog again I’m hoping to also give myself a bit more exercise, a bit more time in the sunshine, a bit more nourishing movement. What are your hopes for the spring season? I’d love to know! . . . #spring2019 #spring #springishere #springhassprung #vernalequinox #happyspring #iinhealthcoach #healthcoach #movement #seasons #healthcoaching #journaling #journalingprompts #mindbody #mindfulness

I’m using this spring as an opportunity to reconnect with things that nourish me. 🌱spending time tending to plants 🌱a yoga practice 🌱gratitude journaling 🌱setting goals and doing the work 🌱smiling and being happy Decide what you want, commit to saying yes and doing the work to achieve it, and anything is possible!! 🌈💫💕 Also, coffee helps!
